“We are perceivers. We are an awareness; we are not objects; we have no solidity. We are boundless. The world of objects and solidity is a way of making our passage on earth convenient. It is only a description that was created to help us. We, or rather our reason, forget that the description is only a description and thus we entrap the totality of ourselves in a vicious circle from which we rarely emerge in our lifetime … So, in essence, the world that your reason wants to sustain is the world created by a description and its dogmatic and inviolable rules, which the reason learns to accept and defend … from now on you should let yourself perceive whether the description is upheld by your reason or by your will.”

Sweet Clarity

n

SweetClarity is a phrase coined by Shahar & myself early in our collaboration.

Shahar is a performer of improvised/spontaneous art. His work and teaching is rooted in body work. When I first experienced Shahar I experienced relief. I was relived because for the first time (and many since) I was moved and touched by art. Until then my experience of art had been a mediocre one. I could identify a certain degree of esthetics and skill in art (of all kinds) but I was never moved. this led me to believe that I was ignorant – and therefor uncapable of appreciating art. With Shahar I was (and still am) clearly moved. Moved in such a way that I did not have and was not interested in describing my experience in words.

Sweet was the word Shahar offered when I tried (and failed) to describe my experience (which goes way beyond feeling) of the power invoked during one of our early work sessions. The word was right on the spot, I felt it contained and matched my experience perfectly. In one our later conversations – I don’t remember the exact context – we were discussing the personal qualities I was experiencing when I was in the “Sweet” experience. That’s when the world “Clarity” was added.

I feel that the “Sweet” experience brings me in touch with an inner place – an anchor that is not connected to the outside world but to something else deep inside. Experiencing the world from this place gives me a sense of clarity. It is as if I know my place in existence, I recognize the path I am on and I have the firmest resolve to softly walk my path. I find this sense of clarity to be very comforting, supporting and pleasant. I treasure this experience and it is that which has guided me in the recent chapter of my life.

My work (in the diverse fields in which I am active) is focused on trying to share this experience with others. enjoying as they experience it in their life and hopefully watching them continuing their work by sharing it with others. Inspiration is the primary means of transmission of SweetClarity. I feel that SweetClarity plays a crucial role in evolution.
