In our recent visit to Berlin we used to projections within the same performance space. This rendered a new quality of stage landscape and a special lighting quality that feeds on the space itself.

You can see all these elements come into play in the sequence in which Marlen starts off with a background image taken within the space just seconds before. The images that begin to create additional layers – until in the end the photographic process and images became an independent piece.

A week later during a performance back in Israel, we were again using two projectors in the space and this time one of the projectors became a lighting tool in it’s own right, while the second continued projecting in the background.

and then Shahar’s face lit by a similar previous image – seconds later this very image was projected into the space and onto Shahar:
